At The Equity Poppy, we help with your journey towards racial equity. We provide 1:1 coaching and consulting for your personal & professional endeavors. Our current expertise is in education (K-12 and higher education), government and non-profits.

As racial equity practitioners, we are both experienced and always learning. We can help you in your racial equity journey. We want to help you blossom & transform. Our focus at The Equity Poppy is to critically elevate racial consciousness. We believe in a coaching model that promotes self-awareness, reflection, dialogue and action ~ we know change IS possible.
How do we do it?
By leveraging our lived experience, scholarship, and racial equity practice we partner with you and tailor to your needs. Initially, please email or call us to set up a FREE 15 minute consultation. When we meet for the initial FREE consultation, it will be on ZOOM. We will send you the link once we have set a date/time for the consultation.

Founder, Executive Director
Courtney (she/hers/ella) is a racial equity practitioner with specialization in: coaching, change science, organizational theory & change, critical whiteness studies, critical consciousness and teaching & learning.
In honor & memory of Marley Joy Prusmack (2002-2019)
Marley helped Courtney to imagine the name The Equity Poppy in early 2019 in Boulder, Colorado
Courtney's daughter, Marley, was her biggest champion and thought-partner. Right before Marley's passing, Courtney & Mar conceived of The Equity Poppy...a dream long imagined, to build a beautifully inclusive world where everyone belongs.
